Awarded a Chevening scholarship in 2005, Emily completed her Master’s degree from the University of Nottingham. In 2009, she graduated with distinction in her LLB and Legal Practice Course at the University of Law. Since then, Emily has been working in investment immigration, with more than 10 years of industry experience, including two years as an OISC-accredited immigration adviser.
Emily worked in the Private Bank department of HSBC from 2011 to 2012, where she specialised in managing High Net Worth client relationships. In 2012, Emily joined Henley & Partners to focus on residence and citizenship planning. She has also assisted investors from China and Russia migrating to UK under various visa programs such as the Tier 1 (Entrepreneur) and UK Sole Representative visa through her tenure at the world’s largest international immigration law firm, Fragomen LLP. Her expertise includes managing customer relationships, providing legal advice on residency programs (including the initial entry visa, visa extension and permanent residency) and citizenship applications. She also has a comprehensive understanding of Chinese and British culture and enjoys helping clients to bridge their cultural understanding of the UK with their country of origin. Emily is also often called upon to share her experience regarding UK property purchases, UK private education, and provide advice for different types of UK visas.
